“Satej Bangla” is the brand name of Satej Bangla Agro Ltd., Joint Venture of Pranti Group & Dellvidi Bd.

In the year 2002, an experience visionary man started his new journey with CP group Thailand and India by setup the World Class Fish Processing unit Fahim Sea Food Processing Ltd. Since its inception, our people have believed in Hygienic & sustainable Product Healthy Trade and made it a part of their core values at work.

Quality, Delivery Security, Social Responsibility, and Respect for Nature are our business’s cornerstones, making Fahim the only esteemed seafood processing company in Bangladesh.

The plant is equipped with, two contract freezers (10 ton/day capacity), One Blast freezer (20 ton/day capacity), a Cooking and Counter Cooling system, an IQF Tunnel Freezer (750 kg/ hour capacity), Auto Cooking capacity 500 kgs/hour two part of Glazer and Hardener into the processing line. Fahim Seafood has water treatment plants to supply clean water to the processing line.

With the concept of composite system we started from the brooding. We have PCR Laboratory in Khulna which confirming the WSSV (White sport syndrome virus) mother, and the baby shrimp. Our own Hatchery Desh Bangla producing PCR tested and SPF healthy baby of Black tiger shrimp. We have 200 acers of own intensive farm and 700 acers contract farm where we are getting 12000 tons raw materials in a year. We have an agreement with CPF Thailand and India. And they are providing all the technical support, Feed and Probiotic which are uses all of our farms. We have processing units which make a complete chain of the composite system.

Testing laboratory every stage closely and immaculately monitors the entire operations, which eventually ensure absolute compliance with the set production standard by the producing team. Our PCR laboratory confirming the WSSV mother which we are using for the breeding. From the Nopely-Mysis to before PL(Post larva) we are doing six time test to confirm the white sport syndrome free baby shrimp. We are using this baby shrimp to all of our farms. In the farming we have own controlling system from the pond preparation, water treatment and the bio terrorism acts. According our control policy we are testing the water and soil twice in a year. And all the processing is carried out by the QA team regularly. This is attributing to food safety in every phase of the production.
